If you’re looking for a Bio tutor, I suggest you do not go to a tutor for Bio. Bio is mostly memory work, and a bio tutor isn’t worth it. Especially TSFX and Neap because they are very costly. Honestly, just learn by yourself. Buy some notes off people if you have to, because that’s the only thing that’s worth it. Bio tutor just got boring because all you did was listen and I just lost interest so bad LOL.
I’m not sure what subjects you do, but if you need a chem tutor, then my chem tutor is pretty good. I got pretty good marks throughout the year last year (85’s to high 90’s). $40 for 2 hours and he’s in Ascott Vale.
There’s also Thay Hien in North Sunshine for Math Methods and Specialist Maths, $30 for 2 hours. He’s okay… Maybe I’m just really bad at maths nowadays. He gives his own work, and I think you have to be ALREADY smart to get his work. I’m okay, so I go there and some things are apparently “assumed knowledge” and if you don’t know it then you’re screwed LOL. The work he gives is higher standard than at school, so when you go to school and do your school work, it’s easier I HOPE. Apparently the shit we learn is “easy” compared to his work. I did go to Specialist/General Maths tutor early last year and quit mid last year (BECAUSE IT WAS TOO FUCKING HARD AND I DIDN’T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING), but I was magically getting pretty high marks in General Maths for the whole year (90-100% for tests and ~80% exams LOL exams…). And I didn’t start Methods tutor there until late last year , so throughout the year I was doing REALLY SHIT in Methods. So yeah… Tutors may have helped me.
I go to Sira for English. It’s $25 an hour in East Keilor. I’ve only been to 3 lessons, and so far she’s okay. She has a lot of resources and gives you a lot of articles. But I think in the upper year levels, she expects you to bring your own work and she’ll help you with that.
Yeah… That’s all the tutors I go to ahaha
