Not really.
Sure, gifts are one of the ways you can show you love/appreciation for someone - but I personally don’t think gifts are that important. What are important in relationships (no matter what type it may be) are trust, communication, persistence, respect and consideration. Gifts are merely just a bonus you get from it. And I hear gifts are generally gone to waste after a relationship has ended, because it triggers bad memories (if there are any) and people throw them away or give them back.
There are other ways you can show your love and appreciation for someone.
