Of course I’ve changed. What do you want me to do about it? Revert to the old me that got hurt?
Maybe I’m just experiencing life? I’m just doing what I was taught to do when I make a mistake: learning from it. I let myself become vulnerable, and I got hurt. Pain changed the way I look at certain things in life. Do you expect me to stay the same after reality bit me in the ass?
I’m allowed to be cynical at times. Life isn’t all rainbow and butterflies. Shit got to me, and I’d rather play it safe.
